COMMERCIAL DIVER / SALVAGE TECHNICIAN

A full-time 40-hour week minimum position based out of Port Newark, New Jersey. When submitting an application, copies of all required documents (front & back) must be included.
Required:
- Certified Commercial Diver
- All skill levels encouraged to apply
- Divers and Technicians will be expected to work safely as part of a team operation
- Willing to work in multiple roles including: shop work, supporting topside salvage and wreck removal activities, as well as underwater operations supporting salvage in both inshore and offshore environments
- Applicant must be willing and able to travel

- NCCCO certified (lattice crawler and large telescopic cranes)
- Minimum five (5) years experience
- Willingness to travel and spend extended periods at remote project sites
- Valid drivers license, passport, and TWIC

- Experience with friction-style and RT cranes / Manitowoc 4000 - 4600 cranes with or without Vicon 4
- Marine heavy lift experience and operation of duty cycle cranes (i.e. for dredging and/or marine demolition)

An entry-level laborer position in Donjon's heavy-lift/salvage division in Port Newark, NJ. On-the-job training in heavy lift/salvage and all required safety training will be provided. The position will require travel across the United States and even internationally. No experience is needed but any background in Marine operations is a plus as well as Operator or Mechanical background. Pay to be based upon experience and ability.
Resposibilities:
- Ability to perform general labor duties including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Responsible for keeping a clean and safe work environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working overtime when needed.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work outside under extreme temperature conditions. (Heat, cold, snow etc.).
